Successfully configured structured logging for the connection pool module that writes to `/tmp/codebase-mcp.log` with JSON formatting. The implementation reuses the existing `src/mcp/mcp_logging.py` infrastructure to ensure consistency across the codebase.

### Existing Logging Infrastructure
The codebase already has a comprehensive structured logging system:
1. **Main Logging Module**: `src/mcp/mcp_logging.py`
- JSON structured logging with Pydantic models
- File-only output to `/tmp/codebase-mcp.log`
- Automatic log rotation (100MB per file, 5 backup files)
- No stdout/stderr pollution (MCP protocol compliance)
- Full type safety with mypy --strict compliance
2. **Configuration**: `src/config/settings.py`
- Log level configuration (DEBUG, INFO, WARNING, ERROR, CRITICAL)
- Log file path: `/tmp/codebase-mcp.log`

## What Was Created
### 1. Connection Pool Logging Module
**File**: `/Users/cliffclarke/Claude_Code/codebase-mcp/src/connection_pool/pool_logging.py`
**Note**: Originally named `logging.py` but renamed to `pool_logging.py` to avoid naming conflict with Python's built-in `logging` module.
**Purpose**: Provide connection pool-specific logging utilities that integrate with the existing mcp_logging infrastructure.
**Features**:
- `get_pool_logger(name)`: Get a standard logger for pool modules
- `get_pool_structured_logger(name)`: Get a structured logger with convenience methods
- `log_pool_event()`: Generic pool event logging with context
- `log_pool_initialization()`: Standardized pool initialization logging
- `log_connection_acquisition()`: Connection acquisition logging with metrics
- `log_reconnection_attempt()`: Exponential backoff reconnection logging

## Log Configuration Details
### Log File Location
- **Path**: `/tmp/codebase-mcp.log`
- **Format**: JSON (one JSON object per line)
- **Rotation**: 100MB per file, 5 backup files
- **Permissions**: Standard file permissions (644)
### Log Levels
- **DEBUG**: Connection acquisitions, releases, detailed pool state
- **INFO**: Pool initialization, statistics, normal operations
