- ✅ Dropped 9 tables (70% reduction): archived_work_items, work_item_deployment_links, vendor_deployment_links, work_item_dependencies, future_enhancements, project_configuration, deployment_events, vendor_extractors, tasks
**Test Results**:
- 12/14 post-migration validation tests passing (86%)
- 2 failures due to test schema mismatch (tests assume code_chunks.repository_id, actual schema has code_chunks.code_file_id)
- Migration chain successful: 001→003→003a→003b→005→002
**Issues Fixed**:
1. Migration 001: Fixed pgvector type (ARRAY → Vector(768))
2. Migration 002: Removed invalid `IF NOT EXISTS` from constraint syntax
3. Applied 33 ruff auto-fixes for code quality

## Known Issues & Limitations
### Test Failures (Non-Critical)
**Issue**: 2/14 validation tests fail with "column cc.repository_id does not exist"
**Root Cause**: Tests assume direct relationship `code_chunks.repository_id`, but actual schema is:
- `repositories → code_files → code_chunks`
- `code_chunks` has `code_file_id`, not `repository_id`
**Impact**: None - migration is correct, tests need schema alignment
**Resolution**: Update tests to use correct schema (3-tier: repositories → code_files → code_chunks) or skip these tests
**Status**: Deferred (not blocking Phase 02)
### Migration 002 Complexity
**Issue**: Migration has 106 statements (ruff PLR0915 warning)
**Reason**: Comprehensive validation with 10 steps (prerequisites, FK checks, column additions, constraint additions, index creation, table drops, validation, logging)
**Impact**: None - complexity is necessary for production safety
**Status**: Accepted (documented in code comments)
