# Test Coverage Improvement Plan
**Current Status**: 30% coverage
**Target**: 95% coverage
**Priority**: Focus on high-impact, heavily-used modules first
## Phase 1: Core Integration Module (km_client.py - 2002 lines, 26% coverage)
This is the most critical module as it handles all Keyboard Maestro integration.
- Current: 550 lines uncovered out of 767
- Impact: All other modules depend on this for KM operations
- Priority: **CRITICAL**
## Phase 2: Agent System (20-27% coverage)
Critical for autonomous operation:
- agent_manager.py (383 lines, 20%)
- decision_engine.py (211 lines, 27%)
- goal_manager.py (206 lines, 26%)
- learning_system.py (256 lines, 27%)
- resource_optimizer.py (221 lines, 26%)
## Phase 3: Application Control (24% coverage)
- app_controller.py (410 lines, 24%)
- menu_navigator.py (124 lines, 23%)
## Phase 4: Security Components (25-26% coverage)
- policy_enforcer.py (606 lines, 26%)
- trust_validator.py (390 lines, 25%)
- access_controller.py (596 lines, 30%)
## Phase 5: File Operations (28% coverage)
- file_operations.py (284 lines, 28%)
- file_monitor.py (183 lines, 21%)
## Implementation Strategy
1. Start with km_client.py as it's the foundation
2. Write comprehensive tests for each method
3. Use property-based testing for complex scenarios
4. Mock external dependencies appropriately
5. Ensure 100% coverage for critical paths
