Server Configuration
Describes the environment variables required to run the server.

| DAVINCI_MCP_PORT | No | The port number for the MCP server. When set, the server binds exactly to this port and will not auto-increment if busy. Overrides the config file and the built-in default of 8765. | |
| DAVINCI_MCP_CONFIG | No | Path to a JSON config file that is used exclusively for host/port settings. If missing or malformed, the server falls back to built-in defaults rather than reading the default `~/Movies` or XDG config files. | |
| DAVINCI_MCP_LOG_DIR | No | Directory where the logfile `davinci-resolve-lite-mcp.log` is written. Defaults to `~/Movies`. | |
| DAVINCI_MCP_SKIP_UPDATE_CHECK | No | Set to `1` to disable the startup check for newer releases on PyPI. |
