Relay — agent service discovery

Retrieve 2–3 selected catalogue entries for comparison. Does not test providers or infer performance from their listing.

Read 20 predefined public-documentation task cases across English, Turkish, German and Spanish, with source URLs and review rubrics. Five task families have four language variants; this is a test design, not 20 independently tested capabilities. The suite publishes no shared live evidence, quality rankings or measured costs. Private receipts are available separately through the authenticated benchmark run tools. Use plan_benchmark to inspect candidate access and hard-constraint gaps. No providers, accounts, payments or writes.

Read a reviewed host-managed connection plan for Exa, Jina or Browserless. Only provider is accepted. Returns official endpoints, authentication method, setup steps, source evidence and account-check limitations. Configure credentials only in your agent host; Relay does not inspect accounts, perform OAuth, accept keys or execute authenticated provider tasks. Discover live provider tool schemas after connecting. Connection grants no payment permission: the host must enforce the user's budget and provider billing controls before charged work. Unpublished or changed listings return no usable connection options. No provider calls or writes.

Read recorded endpoint, declared interfaces, authentication method, setup gaps and source evidence. Transport can come from matching Registry evidence or an exact-endpoint reviewed setup guide. Read the setupGuide option for client authentication and session steps. Unknown fields remain unknown/null. Does not supply provider tool schemas, install packages, authenticate, connect or pay.

Read one full catalogue entry, including documentation links, pricing caveats and source check date. Does not connect to the provider.

Read the published evidence for one current service. Source review, observed provider response and internal task review are separate. Inspect observation dates, failures, scope and validity. Internal tests are not independent certification; failed-attempt timing is not a latency benchmark. No private run records, provider calls, account checks, payment or quality ranking.

Plan an optional keyless task without contacting a provider. Send requestJson containing only task (web_search, read_page or browser_screenshot), input (public search text or URL), optional provider (auto, exa, jina-ai or browserless), and required maxSpendUsd:0. Inspect the returned access status, provider, sharing notice and approved reading scope before execution. Does not inspect accounts saved in your agent host. Browserless requires a host-managed account and cannot run through Relay. No payment authorization is accepted.

Plan a predefined benchmark case without running it. Read get_benchmark_suite for a caseId, then send requestJson containing {caseId,constraints?:{maxTaskCostUsd?,maxDurationMs?,requireMeasuredQuality?}}. Preserve every intended constraint inside requestJson; unknown and duplicate inner fields are rejected. Budget is a planning ceiling, never payment permission. Uses current published listings and exactly bound setup guides. Documented anonymous access is not a live health check, account check or guarantee that Relay has an executable adapter. Host accounts, quotas, task quality, duration and provider-billed cost remain unknown; constrained fit is unknown when measurements are absent. No ranking by invented performance, account connection, external call, automatic fallback or saved report.

Read-only shortlist for an explicitly selected web_search or read_page task, beyond the fixed benchmark cases. Send the COMPLETE user request in requestJson: task, original query, optional constraints (access:any/no_account, protocol:any/MCP/REST, maxTaskCostUsd, maxDurationMs, requireMeasuredQuality, outputLanguage), and optional requirements. Keep all conditions; unknown/duplicate fields are rejected. Query and requirements are preserved as unassessed text, not translated or semantically interpreted: put supported conditions into structured constraints and independently review the rest. Access and protocol must match the SAME source-reviewed task connection option. Cost, duration, quality, language support, live availability and host accounts remain unverified; unknowns cannot satisfy hard conditions. Fixed order is not performance or sponsored ranking. Compare echoed conditions before using results. No execution, account connection, provider call, payment, saved query or automatic fallback. A budget is not spending authorization.

Find services using deterministic keywords, bounded language aliases and category/protocol/pricing filters. Prefer requestJson: serialize the complete request as JSON in this single string to preserve every field through connectors. Do not combine requestJson with top-level fields. Unknown inner fields are rejected. Legacy top-level calls remain available, but connectors may discard unknown fields before Relay sees them. Compare search.originalQuery, effectiveQuery and appliedFilters with your intended conditions before using results. There is no auth, region or budget filter; retain unsupported conditions in the query and verify provider evidence. queryEnglish requires the original nonempty query and must preserve all constraints. Defaults to five compact results with metadata match reasons, not quality scores. Use get_connection_spec for sourced setup options and get_task_options for the separate keyless task pilot. This search makes no external translation, provider execution or payment calls.
