Scored across 39 tools
Several tools overlap in purpose: ask_pipeworx, ask_pipeworx_beta, ask_pipeworx_grounded, deep_research, discover_tools, and suggest_questions all serve routing/discovery/meta functions, while the prediction-market set (bet_research, polymarket_edges, polymarket_arbitrage, polymarket_kalshi_spread, kalshi_weather_edge, release_calendar_markets, resolution_audit/diff) creates many adjacent choices. Descriptions do provide guidance, but boundaries remain blurry for a 39-tool surface.
The tools are overwhelmingly snake_case with readable, predictable names, and the few pipeworx_* prefixes are consistent enough. Some names are noun-led (company_facts, entity_profile) while others are verb-led (compare_entities, validate_claim), but the convention is stable.
39 tools is well above the ideal 3–15 range and feels heavy for a server named 'Acquisition Forecasts', whose actual domain is only a small subset of the surface. The set includes broad data-gateway, prediction-market, memory, subscription, and meta-routing tools, plus an experimental beta router, making the surface feel bloated rather than tightly scoped.
For an acquisition-forecast server, the surface is thin: only forecast_search, forecast_detail, and forecast_agencies support the domain, with coverage limited to DHS components and no tools for solicitations or awarded contracts despite references to them in descriptions. The rest of the tool set is largely unrelated, so the acquisition-forecast lifecycle has significant gaps.
