Most tools are clearly separated by resource and action, e.g. calculate_birth_chart vs calculate_varga_charts vs calculate_transits. A few pairs could be confused at first glance—daily_horoscope vs get_daily_rashifal, calculate_tajaka vs calculate_varshaphala, calculate_all_dashas vs calculate_vimsottari_dasha—but the descriptions explicitly cross-reference and clarify the boundaries. No two tools appear to do the same thing.

The set uses a largely predictable verb_noun snake_case pattern: calculate_* for deterministic computations, ask_* for AI interpretation, get_* for retrieval, plus find_, recommend_, and resolve_. The only notable deviation is daily_horoscope, which drops the verb prefix, but overall the convention is coherent and readable.

22 tools is on the heavier side, but each maps to a distinct Vedic astrology subsystem (dashas, vargas, panchanga, transits, prashna, yogas, ashtakavarga, etc.), so the count is justified by domain complexity. It is slightly over the ideal 3–15 range but not redundant.

The surface covers a broad lifecycle: chart calculation, divisional charts, multiple dasha systems, transits, panchanga, compatibility, prashna, remedies, and horoscopes. Minor gaps remain—e.g. no explicit Shadbala / planetary strength tool beyond Ashtakavarga, and no standalone 'current dasha summary'—but core Jyotish workflows are well covered.
