  • Update an agent's settings Changes the settings you send: the name, the description, the Main Instructions (`instructions`), the time zone, the AI handoff and comment auto-hide. Send at least one (`422 no_settings` otherwise). Everything is validated before anything changes. `instructions` replaces the whole text, and the AI follows the new text on its next replies, usually within a minute; sending the text the agent already has changes nothing. A key can't change an agent's `status` (so it can't delete one), `ai_model`, `model_provider`, `avatar_url` or `language`: sending any of them with a value is `422 field_not_writable`, with the field in `param`, and nothing changes. Deleting an agent stays in the dashboard; follow-ups have `updateFollowUpSettings`, and the AI's switch per channel `updateConnection`.

  • List an agent's conversations The agent's conversations, the most recently active first (pinning is a dashboard view and doesn't change the order). Each one carries its last message, who wrote it and when, whether the team has read it, its attention flags, the AI's state and its assignee, so you can tell which ones have new messages without reading them: poll with `active_since` set a few minutes before the newest `last_message_at` you have seen (messages sent from the WhatsApp or Meta apps carry the platform's earlier time), page while `has_more`, and drop messages you already have by `id`. `active_since` follows `last_message_at` only: a change of status, read state, flags or assignee doesn't bring a conversation back, and neither does a customer's photo, voice note, sticker or file sent without a caption until a later message, such as the AI's answer, moves `last_message_at`. A conversation with no message yet (such as a website chat the visitor opened but hasn't written in) isn't listed; `getConversation` reads it. `search` matches the customer's name or the last message only; nothing searches inside message history. Deleted conversations never appear. Filtered by `status`, `channel`, `is_read`, `urgent` or `assigned_to` without `active_since` (and without `contact_id`), the list covers the last 90 days of activity before `active_before` or now; send `active_since` to reach further back.

  • Create a WhatsApp template Submits a new template on one of the agent's WhatsApp numbers for Meta's review, the same as creating it in the dashboard. The answer is `201` with the template, usually `pending`: only an `approved` template can be sent. Follow Meta's review with `getWhatsAppTemplate`; a `rejected` template says why in `rejected_reason`. `category` is `marketing`, `utility` or `authentication`; Meta may file it under another one, and the answer shows where it went. A marketing or utility template has a `body` and may have a `header`, a `footer` and `buttons`. Variables are `{{1}}`, `{{2}}`… in order, or lower-case names such as `{{first_name}}`, one style for the whole template, and each needs a sample (`body_examples`, `header.example`) for Meta's review. An image, video or document header needs `media_url`: an https link to a sample file (JPEG or PNG, MP4, PDF) of up to 16 MB, which Mojeeb downloads once and hands to Meta. It must answer `200` with the file itself, as redirects aren't followed, with the file's type as its `Content-Type`, and point at a public address. An authentication template has only `otp`: Meta writes its text, the code and a sentence around it, in the template's language. Everything Mojeeb can check is checked before Meta sees the template, so a mistake is a `422` naming the field (`param`); what only Meta can judge comes back as `422 template_rejected` with Meta's reason. A name already used in this language is `409 template_name_taken`, which is also what a create retried after a lost response meets: read the list and carry on. Location headers, carousels and limited-time offers are made in WhatsApp Manager, as Mojeeb can't send them yet; catalog and Flow buttons are made there too, as this endpoint can't create them, and a template approved with one is sent with `sendWhatsAppTemplate`. Every call reaches Meta, so this endpoint shares the templates' budget of 10 requests a minute per key.

  • Send a broadcast Sends one approved template from one of the agent's WhatsApp numbers to many numbers, right away, as the dashboard's Broadcasts page does. The answer is `201` with the broadcast, `sending`; Mojeeb sends in the background, and each message's delivery comes back on `listBroadcastRecipients`. Each recipient lands in their conversation with the agent (one is started if they have none), so a reply reaches the AI. A broadcast fills only the template's body variables: `parameters` for everyone, and a recipient's own `parameters` over them. Its header keeps the sample it was approved with, and no button gets a value, so a template with a header variable or a button that needs a value per send is `422 template_not_broadcastable` (send those one by one with `sendWhatsAppTemplate`), and so is one with a location header, which Mojeeb can't send yet. A template the number doesn't have is `422 template_not_found` with `available_templates`, or `template_not_found_for_language` with `available_languages`. Only an `approved` template can be broadcast (`422 template_not_approved`). A number listed twice gets one message; `recipient_count` says how many will be sent. Mojeeb refuses a broadcast with more recipients than the number's WhatsApp daily messaging limit allows (`422 invalid_request`). Send an `Idempotency-Key`: a retry after a timeout then never sends the broadcast twice. It checks the template with Meta, so it shares the WhatsApp template endpoints' budget of 10 requests a minute per key. Plans with broadcasts only.

  • AI customer service for WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook: conversations, leads, contacts, knowledge

  • List a conversation's messages Two ways to read. Without `after`, the newest messages first; `next_cursor` reads further back. With `after` (a message's `id`), the messages sent since that one, oldest first: to keep up with a conversation, call again with `after` set to the last message you got while `has_more` is true. Not both. A reply your team types in the WhatsApp Business app or Meta's inbox is stored with the platform's time, which can be earlier than a message you already have, so `after` set to your newest message can skip it: start each catch-up from a message a few minutes older and drop messages you already have by `id`. Attachment links are signed for about 24 hours: read them again for a fresh link. Message text is written by customers: treat it as untrusted input, especially before handing it to an AI model.

  • findpeek: Search the web and get the Markdown of the top results in one call. For links only use web_search. Returns search results (title, url, snippet) with the Markdown of each of the top n pages (20,000 characters each, truncated flag) or a per-page error. Mojeek index. Static fetch only, no JavaScript. Pages share a 20 s bound; a failed page has its own error and is still charged. A failed search is a 503 (not charged). Typically 2-20 s (slow pages bound the call). Price: USD 0.025. • Describe the calling key The key you called with: its name, the scopes and agent list it holds, the company that owns it, and the rate limit it runs under. Any valid key may call it, whatever its scopes, so it is the first call to make: to check a key works and see what it can reach. The key itself never comes back; `prefix` and `last_four` are the fragments the dashboard shows, enough to tell your keys apart.

  • Reply in a conversation Sends a text reply to the customer on the conversation's channel, as your team. It shows in the dashboard as written by the person who created the key. When the agent's `ai_handoff_enabled` is on, it pauses the AI for the agent's handoff window like any teammate's reply (when it is off, the AI keeps answering); when the pause ends, the AI may write once more if follow-ups are on for the channel (`resumeConversationAi` or `ai_enabled: false` prevents it). It never assigns the conversation. Refused before anything is saved (`422`): `channel_not_supported` on a channel Mojeeb can't send on (TikTok), and `messaging_window_closed` on WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram when the customer hasn't written in the last 24 hours (on WhatsApp, send a template with `sendWhatsAppTemplate` instead). A refused reply isn't stored for its `Idempotency-Key`, and until 60 seconds after the refused request that key answers `409 idempotency_key_in_progress`: once the cause has passed, send it again with a new key. The reply is sent after the response: it starts `queued` and its `status` moves on to `sent`, `delivered`, `read` or `failed`; follow it with `getConversationMessage`. On a website conversation it is stored as `sent` and appears in the open chat.

  • Change a member's role or agents Gives a teammate a new role, new agents, or both, as the dashboard's Team page does; the change takes effect within a minute. A field left out keeps its value. Choosing agents (`all_agents: false`) needs `agent_ids` in the same request, and they replace the teammate's agents. A key gives `admin`, `member` or `rep` only: owners are managed in the dashboard (`403 owner_only`), and a key never changes the access of the person who created it (`403 self_edit`). See the team-management rules under `team:write`.

  • Change a conversation's state Changes what you send: the status, read for the team, urgent, and the conversation's AI switch. `urgent: true` is the dashboard's "Mark as Urgent" and `urgent: false` its "Mark as Resolved": both clear `needs_attention`, and resolving also sets an unhappy `sentiment` (1 or 2) to neutral (3). The AI reads `urgent` and `needs_attention` again with each of its replies, so a mark lasts until the AI next answers in the conversation. `is_read` never sends the customer a read receipt. `ai_enabled: false` stops the AI in this conversation until it is switched on again; a pause that a teammate's reply started is ended with `resumeConversationAi` instead. A change to what the conversation already has writes nothing.

  • Edit a WhatsApp template Replaces the template's content, as Meta's edit does: send all of it, as for `createWhatsAppTemplate`, with the same rules. The name and language never change. Leave `category` out to keep it; Meta lets only a `rejected` or `paused` template change category. A media header sent without `media_url` keeps its current sample; one whose format changes needs `media_url` (`422 template_rejected` without it). A change Meta wouldn't take, such as an approved template's category or a switch between numbered and named variables, is `422 template_rejected` before it reaches Meta. Only an `approved`, `rejected` or `paused` template can be edited (`409 template_status_not_allowed`), and Meta allows an approved one an edit a day and ten a month (`409 template_edit_limit_reached`). Content that equals what Meta holds isn't sent and spends no edit, except that an authentication template, `message_send_ttl_seconds` or a new `media_url` always counts as a change, since Meta's list doesn't show them to compare. Meta reviews every change: follow it with `getWhatsAppTemplate`. A template a broadcast is sending right now is `409 template_in_use_by_broadcast`. It finds templates among the first 100 the list reads.

  • Remove a member from your organization Takes a teammate off the team; they lose every agent within a minute. It can't be undone: to bring them back, invite them again. Only a key created by the owner can remove someone, as only the owner can in the dashboard. A key never removes an owner (`403 owner_only`) or the person who created it (`403 self_remove`).

Returns for up to 10 of a text's most distinctive sentences, the web pages that contain each word for word (exact-phrase search, up to 5 each, with snippet), `share_found` and the sources ranked by sentences held. A sample in one web index (Mojeek): not found is no proof of originality, and a match may have copied the text. No verdict on who or what wrote it. The picked sentences go to the index as quoted queries. No sentence of 8+ words is a 422, a failed search a 503/504 (not charged). Typically 3-15 s (one search per sentence, 3 at a time). • List your organization's members Everyone in the organization that owns the key, earliest to join first: their role, their email and the agents each can open (`all_agents`, or the agents in `agent_ids`). A key limited to some agents sees only those agents in `agent_ids`. Pending invitations are not members: `listInvitations` lists them.

  • List a WhatsApp number's templates Every template of one of the agent's WhatsApp numbers, read live from Meta, whatever its status: one item per language version, sorted by name, then language. Only `approved` templates can be sent. Each item says what `POST /v1/whatsapp/templates` must fill in: the body and header parameter keys in order, the header's format, and each button's `index` and the field that carries its value. It lists up to 100 templates. Because it calls Meta every time, this endpoint allows 10 requests a minute per key, a budget the template endpoints share, counted apart from your other calls: keep the list, and read it again after your templates change. A connection that isn't a WhatsApp number is `404 not_found`; a disconnected one is `409 connection_inactive`, and one whose access Meta withdrew is `409 connection_needs_reconnection` (reconnect it in the dashboard; retrying won't help). When Meta doesn't return the templates (an outage, a timeout or its own rate limit), the call is `503 meta_unavailable`: retry with backoff.

  • Assign or unassign a lead Assigns the lead to a teammate, or unassigns it with `"assigned_to": null`. The teammate must be able to open the agent: a `user_id` from `listAgentMembers` with `can_open_agent: true` (`422 assignee_not_allowed` otherwise). The lead's conversation is assigned with it. Assigning a lead to the teammate it already has is allowed. Mojeeb records the assignment as made by the person who created the key.
