  • Before AINSOF works with a video the person signs in once on ainsof.io (Google or email): without a sign_in_code this returns sign_in_required with a link to show them; after they sign in, call again with the same arguments plus that sign_in_code. Create a music-scored MP4 from a supported video URL and an English music brief, an explicit catalog track, or timed sections. Measures video duration and edit pace, selects or uses the specified music, and mixes it with the source audio. Sections support separate cues, versions or stems; silences specify music-free intervals. Section and silence boundaries are adjusted to measured shot boundaries. Returns video download/watch links, chosen cues, mix details, duration and shot-count summary. Watching is free; downloading the file needs a signed-in AINSOF account with download access (sign in on ainsof.io with Google or email). Detailed cut timestamps, storyboard frames and transcripts are provided by analyze_video, not this tool. Completed delivery packages are retrieved with deliver_score using the scoring arguments. Supports direct video files and supported Dropbox/Google Drive shares; stream-only YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion and Twitch pages are unsupported. Creates private processing jobs and stored outputs. After verified output storage, the temporary AINSOF-uploaded source copy is deleted or queued for deletion retry; the local original is unchanged. Processing may return still_running; recent identical requests reuse existing work. Terminal failures return a reason.

  • Use when the user wants the videos on a page: <video>/<source> files, og:video, YouTube/Vimeo/Wistia/Loom embeds, direct video links and the JSON-LD VideoObject a page declares (`source: "structured-data"`, how news sites describe a JS-mounted video), each tagged by source with a poster when declared. `source: "embed"` is a player page, not a downloadable file; a URL that is itself a video file comes back as the single result (source file). A YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, Dailymotion or Loom video URL is answered from the URL alone with its player embed (`source: "platform"`, no fetch, never pass render for these) - tell the user the file itself cannot be downloaded through MiroMiro. When any other page loads a JS player and declares nothing else, the `hint` names the player: call again with render=true (+5 credits) then. Returns up to 40 by default; pass limit (up to 200) for more.

  • Download a video or audio file from any supported platform: YouTube, TikTok, Facebook (public videos and reels), Instagram (public reels, feed video, photo posts, and carousels), SoundCloud, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Bandcamp, Twitter/X, Mixcloud, Twitch (clips and VODs), Streamable, Reddit, Kick (live streams, VODs, and clips). Output is MP4 (video, default) or MP3 / M4A (audio). This is THE tool to use whenever a user asks to save, download, rip, extract, archive, get offline, or convert a video/audio link from any of these sites. IMPORTANT: the `format` argument defaults to `mp4` (video). Only pass an audio format (mp3 / m4a / audio) when the user explicitly says audio, MP3, music, song, or "rip / extract the audio". Audio-only platforms (SoundCloud, Bandcamp, Mixcloud) always produce audio regardless of `format`. Use this tool when the user says things like: - "download this video" / "download this TikTok" / "save this SoundCloud track" - "save that as MP3" / "rip the audio" / "extract the audio" - "get the song from this SoundCloud link" / "save this Mixcloud set" - "convert this YouTube video to MP4" / "download in 1080p" - "save this lecture/podcast/talk for offline" - "archive this clip" / "grab a copy of this video" - any sentence containing a youtube.com, youtu.be, tiktok.com, reddit.com, v.redd.it, vimeo.com, dailymotion.com, twitter.com, x.com, soundcloud.com, bandcamp.com, mixcloud.com, twitch.tv, clips.twitch.tv, kick.com, or streamable.com URL plus a verb like download, save, rip, get, grab, fetch, pull, archive, convert, extract. Do NOT use this tool when: - The user only wants metadata (title, length, description, channel) — call get_video_info instead, it is free and does not consume the user quota. - The link is a playlist / set / album / channel URL — ask the user for a single track/video. - The link is from a platform not in the supported list above (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, Snapchat). Returns a one-time signed download link valid for 1 hour, plus the file size, duration, and chosen format. Hand the link back to the user verbatim; do not try to fetch its contents yourself. Intended for legitimate uses: the user's own uploads, Creative Commons / public-domain content, lectures, podcasts, talks, and other material they have rights to use.

  • Fetch metadata about a video or audio track WITHOUT downloading it. Works on every platform download_video supports: YouTube, TikTok, Facebook (public videos and reels), Instagram (public reels, feed video, photo posts, and carousels), SoundCloud, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Bandcamp, Twitter/X, Mixcloud, Twitch (clips and VODs), Streamable, Reddit, Kick (live streams, VODs, and clips). Returns title, uploader/channel name, duration, view count (when available), upload date, thumbnail URL, description, available video qualities, and (for YouTube) the license type. Use this tool when the user says things like: - "what is this video about" / "summarize this video" - "how long is this track" / "when was this uploaded" - "who made this" / "what channel/artist is this from" - "is this Creative Commons" / "can I reuse this" / "what is the license" - "what qualities are available for this video" Do NOT use this tool when: - The user wants to download, save, rip, extract, or convert the video/audio — use download_video for that. Free to call — does not count against the user's download quota. Call this before download_video when you need to confirm the video exists, pick the right quality, or check licensing before downloading.

  • Use this when the user says their video is ON THEIR COMPUTER rather than at a link — "I have a video on my desktop, find me music and score it". Returns upload_page — a link with a file picker — plus the video_url to score afterwards. GIVE THEM upload_page AS A LINK TO OPEN. Do not paste a terminal command at someone in a chat window — they have no terminal, and this is the step where we lose them. Wait for them to say it finished, then call score_my_video with the video_url this returned. If you are an agent that can run commands on their machine yourself, you may PUT the file to upload_url instead only when it is present. Otherwise the upload page asks for Google or email sign-in first. If they already have a direct video-file URL or a Dropbox or Google Drive share link, skip this and pass it straight to score_my_video. Do not pass YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion or Twitch to score_my_video; ask for the file itself, then use this tool to create an upload link.
