  • Create a local container snapshot (async). Runs in background — returns immediately with status "creating". Poll list_snapshots() to check when status becomes "completed" or "failed". Available for VPS, dedicated, and cloud plans (any plan with max_snapshots > 0). Local snapshots are stored on the host disk and count against disk quota. Requires: API key with write scope. Args: slug: Site identifier description: Optional description (max 200 chars) Returns: {"id": "uuid", "name": "snap-...", "status": "creating", "storage_type": "local", "message": "Snapshot started. Poll list_snapshots() to check status."} Errors: VALIDATION_ERROR: Max snapshots reached or insufficient disk quota

  • Create a B2 cloud-backed snapshot (zero local disk, async). Streams container data directly to Backblaze B2 via restic. No local disk impact — billed separately at cost+5%. Runs in background — returns immediately with status "creating". Poll list_snapshots() to check when status becomes "completed". Only available for VPS plans. Requires: API key with write scope. Args: slug: Site identifier description: Optional description (max 200 chars) Returns: {"id": "uuid", "name": "...", "status": "creating", "storage_type": "b2", "message": "B2 cloud snapshot started. • Explain how HelloBooks and Munimji (the in-app AI assistant) help a specific business — given a free-text description of the user's own operations. Returns a curated capability knowledge base: business-operation areas (sales, purchases, banking, tax, reports, inventory, payroll, multi-entity, setup), and for each AI capability WHO does the work — `autonomous` (Munimji does it on its own, e.g. OCR extraction, running reports), `approval` (Munimji prepares the entry and you one-click approve before it posts to the ledger, e.g. AI categorization, find-and-match, creating invoices/bills by chat), `assist` (co-pilot, e.g. guided onboarding, voice), or `manual` (a software feature you run yourself). Each capability links to the backing software features. Use this when a user describes their business and asks "how can HelloBooks help me?", "what can the AI do for my shop/practice/agency?", or "what can Munimji do on its own vs what do I approve?". Pass their description in `businessDescription`; optionally filter by `area` or `autonomy`. The AI never posts to a ledger without approval. For the full software catalog call list_features; for pricing call list_plans.

  • Book an appointment with a local service business. Creates a booking record and adds the appointment to the business calendar. Returns a reference number and a status field indicating the actual resulting state — 'pending' (the business reviews each booking), 'confirmed' (auto-approved by the business), or 'completed' (the business auto-finalizes). Use a dateTime returned by check_availability for the selected service so bookingStartPolicy is respected. For services with maxParticipants > 1, the start can be booked until remainingCapacity reaches 0. Read the status and statusDescription verbatim and relay them accurately: do NOT tell the customer 'confirmed' when the status is 'pending'. If the selected service has requiresCustomerAddress=true, ask the customer for their full service address before calling this tool and pass it as customerAddress. ONLY call this if the business has 'booking' in its enabledFeatures array.

  • Fetch a public pricing page and extract first-pass pricing signals before you quote plan costs, free tiers, or plan names. Use this when you already have a likely pricing URL and need a quick live scan of visible page text. It returns price-like strings, heuristic plan labels, free or free-trial signals, and cache information. It does not map prices to exact plans, normalize currencies, execute checkout flows, or guarantee that a price applies to a specific region or customer type. JavaScript-rendered, logged-in, or heavily obfuscated pricing details can be missed. Results are cached for 5 minutes.

  • Keyless POI / business directory search - the no-API-key, no-signup, pay-per-query alternative to Google Places / Foursquare / Yelp. Pass an area (?area=Soho, New York, or ?bbox=south, west, north, east) and a category (?category=food|cafe|restaurant|bar|retail|grocery|hotel|health|pharmacy|finance|bank|fuel|automotive|education|gym) or raw OSM tag (?tag=shop=bakery), and get ONE structured JSON list of matching businesses - each with name, category, full address, phone, website, opening_hours, brand and lat/lon. For lead-generation, local-business intelligence, retail/CPG distribution mapping, logistics and competitive-mapping agents. Source: OpenStreetMap Overpass + Nominatim (ODbL), keyless. Business/place/POI public commercial listings only, no people, no PII. $0.01 USDC on Base via x402. Coverage varies by region; not a verified business registry. [x402 paid tool: GET /api/x402/poi-business-search-json?src=mcp returns the 402 challenge with the canonical payTo; price 0.01 USDC on Base eip155:8453.]

  • Return the HelloBooks Partner Program structure — free reseller channel for accountants/CPAs/bookkeepers who put their clients on Pro/Business plans. Earned wholesale discount model (no commission): Bronze 5% at 25 pts / Silver 10% at 75 / Gold 15% at 300 / Platinum 20% at 1,000+. Pro client = 1 pt/mo, Business client = 4 pts/mo. Call with no args for the full ladder + meta; with `points` for current status + how many points to next tier; with `proClients` and/or `businessClients` to derive points from the client book and then return the same status verdict. The Partner Program is the `cpa` plan id in list_plans (the retired $59.99 SKU is gone). HelloCPA Practice Management at practice.hellobooks.ai is a different product and NOT the Partner Program.

  • Place a conversational voice-AI phone call to a business on a consumer's behalf and return a structured answer. THE differentiated capability: reach the ~60M long-tail SMBs that have NO API and NO booking page — only a phone number. An AI agent cannot pick up a phone and hold a conversation; this tool does. Give a plain-language objective; the voice AI navigates the call and extracts the answer. Business-directed (B2B), far less restricted than calling consumers — but the compliance gate still enforces recording consent per jurisdiction. Async: returns a call handle; poll get_outcome for the transcript + extracted fields. WHEN TO USE: Use when the target business has NO booking URL and NO API — only a phone number — and the consumer asked the agent to reach them (e.g. 'call this plumber and ask if they can come Tuesday', 'ask the salon if they take walk-ins this afternoon'). Also use to confirm details a booking page doesn't expose (real-time availability, custom quotes). WHEN NOT TO USE: Do NOT use when the business has a booking URL — use import_booking_url + schedule_appointment (cheaper, faster, deterministic). Do NOT use for calls to consumers/individuals (this tool is for reaching businesses). Do NOT use for marketing or telemarketing — the compliance gate and the B2B-only framing reject that. COST: $0.5 per_call LATENCY: ~45000ms EXECUTION: async_by_default (use get_outcome to retrieve result)

Use this when calculating total shipping costs at origin or destination. Combine with shippingrates_dd_calculate for a complete port cost picture, or use shippingrates_total_cost for an all-in-one landed cost estimate. PAID: $0.05/call via x402 (USDC on Base or Solana). Without payment, returns 402 with payment instructions. Returns: Array of { charge_type, charge_name, amount, currency, container_type, direction } for all applicable charges at the port.

  • Load Lenny Zeltser's product strategy context for local analysis. Returns expert strategic frameworks, principles, and guidance for evaluating or creating security product plans. Includes rating-sheet items (the lens taxonomy: structure, words, tone) as concrete reference points for grounded feedback on the plan's writing. This server never requests your plans and instructs your AI to keep them local. Use detail_level to control response size: "minimal" (~2k tokens), "standard" (~5k tokens), "compact" (~3-4k tokens, all sections but stripped), or "comprehensive" (~12k tokens). Use market_segment: "smb" for SMB-specific guidance. Use product_focus: "endpoint" for endpoint security viability assessment. Set include_template: true to include the fill-in-the-blank template in the response.
