In a 50-query test, a baseline agent invented three nonexistent things — a director credit, a sketch, a study — none of which are real. Search Fragments returned none of those three invented things. Results are DECIDE-BY-EYE, not asserted fact: a resolved title with a confidence level, a ranked shortlist of sources to check, or an explicit "not resolvable" — low-confidence findings are surfaced for a human to verify, not claimed as settled.

The three numbers: `usage` 3 (DANE-EE) pins the end-entity key and needs no CA, `selector` 1 hashes the SubjectPublicKeyInfo, `matching` 1 is SHA-256 — the 3 1 1 profile recommended for SMTP, because it survives certificate renewal as long as the key is reused. `host` must be the mail server hostname from the MX record, not the domain. Two things break DANE and both are reported: a TLSA record in a zone without DNSSEC proves nothing and is ignored, and DANE fails closed, so installing a new certificate before the matching record has propagated stops mail from every sender that validates. Returns the record, the hash, what each number means, and the DNS entry.

Retries shock detection once with loosened thresholds before concluding "no shocks"; an empty result is itself a reportable finding, not a gap. When shocks are found, the top events by abnormality and their series are the section's findings; when none are found (even after the retry), stability is the finding. `get_pattern_shift` is intentionally not part of this bundle -- its before/after quadrant framing is too easily misread; call it directly if you specifically need it.
