Turns Codex Desktop and codex-app-server into a durable async worker that MCP clients can drive by submitting tasks, receiving an operationId or workflowId immediately, and polling until the work finishes. It handles approvals, Plan Mode workflows, retry-safe duplicate protection, restart recovery, and diagnostics so long-running Codex tasks never require a multi-hour MCP call.
