How do I use publicfinance?

1. Click on "Install Server". 2. Wait a few minutes for the server to deploy. Once ready, it will show a "Started" state. 3. In the chat, type @ followed by the MCP server name and your instructions, e.g., "@publicfinance show me Apple's latest 10-K filing" That's it! Existing SEC EDGAR MCP servers only cover filings. Existing FRED servers require API keys. No MCP server combines SEC EDGAR + US Treasury rates + BLS labor stats into one unified interface with zero configuration.

PublicFinance MCP gives AI agents access to the entire US public financial data landscape — company filings, yield curves, unemployment data, CPI, and more — all from free government APIs.

Rate Limits

SEC EDGAR: Max 10 requests/second. The server uses a compliant User-Agent header.
BLS API v1: 25 series per query, 25 queries per day (no registration). For higher limits, register at bls.gov.
US Treasury: No documented rate limits.
