Problem Statement

AI agents can execute dangerous actions if they are given direct access to sensitive systems such as databases.

For example:

• Deleting records

• Modifying employee information

• Executing unauthorized commands

• Accessing confidential data

Without proper permission checks and approval mechanisms, these actions may cause serious security issues.

Proposed Solution

Instead of allowing the AI Agent to access the database directly, the agent communicates with an MCP Server.

The MCP Server exposes secure tools.

Before executing any tool, the server checks:

• Authentication

• Authorization

• User permissions

• Human approval (if required)

• Logging

• Notifications

Only after passing all checks will the requested action be executed.
