Bridges Signal via a signal-cli daemon, exposing direct messages and group chats as channels, with tools for sending messages and reactions, handling attachments, and sending read receipts.
Click on "Install Server".
Wait a few minutes for the server to deploy. Once ready, it will show a "Started" state.
In the chat, type
@followed by the MCP server name and your instructions, e.g., "@signal-mcplSend 'Running late, be there soon' to the family group"

The chat:addressed / chat:ambient split is the useful part for a host: DMs
are addressed to the agent and generally warrant waking it; group traffic is
ambient and can be archived for continuity without spending inference on every
message.

Notes
Markdown bold/italic/strikethrough/code is converted to Signal text styles (BodyRange); headers, links and lists pass through as plain text.
Image attachments under
SIGNAL_ATTACH_MAX_BYTESare bridged as base64 image blocks; anything else becomes a text note.Author and group name are embedded in the message text, not just metadata, because hosts commonly render only the text — bare text would otherwise arrive anonymous.
Read receipts are sent for delivered messages.
