Local-MCP-server
Allows browsing and fetching text from local Project Gutenberg books.
Click on "Install Server".
Wait a few minutes for the server to deploy. Once ready, it will show a "Started" state.
In the chat, type
@followed by the MCP server name and your instructions, e.g., "@Local-MCP-serversearch for latest AI news"
That's it! The server will respond to your query, and you can continue using it as needed.

This repository gives any tool-calling LLM (such as Gemma 4 or Qwen 3.5) the ability to:
Search the internet
Capture images of websites
Extract readable text from web pages
Grab images from the web
Browse and fetch text from local Gutenberg books (Only for Windows)
Installation
Open cmd and run:
git clone https://github.com/BigStationW/Local-MCP-serverDouble click on launch.bat
You're good to go, you can now grab its link: http://localhost:4242/mcp
