How do I use H-ear MCP Server?

1. Click on "Install Server". 2. Wait a few minutes for the server to deploy. Once ready, it will show a "Started" state. 3. In the chat, type @ followed by the MCP server name and your instructions, e.g., "@H-ear MCP Server classify the bird species in this recording" That's it! AI-powered sound classification for Claude. Identify sounds, detect noise events, and classify audio across 7,000+ sound classes — from urban noise to bird species.

H-ear connects Claude to the H-ear World audio classification API via the Model Context Protocol.

Supported Audio

Files over 25 MB are automatically split into overlapping chunks using ffmpeg, classified in parallel, then merged with deduplication.

Authentication

Two tools (healthCheck, listClasses) work without authentication.
