AniList MCP
Provides AniList integration for searching titles, managing your list, updating episode progress, scoring entries, and checking currently airing episodes from your followed series.
Click on "Install Server".
Wait a few minutes for the server to deploy. Once ready, it will show a "Started" state.
In the chat, type
@followed by the MCP server name and your instructions, e.g., "@AniList MCPWhat's airing today from my followed series?"
That's it! The server will respond to your query, and you can continue using it as needed.
Here is a step-by-step guide with screenshots.
AniList MCP (Convex)
Personal MCP server for AniList. Convex hosts the MCP at https://<deployment>.convex.site/mcp — no local Node process, no OAuth backend.
AniList only has a GraphQL endpoint (https://graphql.anilist.co) and an implicit grant: you create a client, you grab a JWT valid for one year, you store it as a Convex environment variable. That’s the single-user shortcut.
Five tools
Tool | Role |
| Searches a title, returns the AniList id and the episode count |
| Your collection, filterable by status ( |
|
|
|
|
| What’s airing this week among your followed series |
The last one uses the AniList calendar (airingAt), not a hand-maintained list. “What to watch tonight” becomes the episode that came out today.
