Trading Bot with MCP

A trading bot built using the Model Context Protocol (MCP) that provides a set of tools for automated trading operations. This bot offers various functionalities for trading stocks, managing positions, and accessing market information.

Prerequisites

• Node.js (Latest LTS version recommended)

• npm or yarn package manager

• Trading account credentials (configured in mcp-conf.json)

Installation

1. Clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/AmritanshuPrashar/zerodha-mcp.git
cd mcp-zerodha

2. Install dependencies:

npm install

3. Configure your trading credentials:

   • Create a mcp-conf.json file in the root directory

   • Add your trading platform credentials and configuration

Usage

The bot provides several tools that can be used through the MCP interface:

• buy-stock: Place buy orders for stocks

• sell-stock: Place sell orders for stocks

• get-positions: View current positions

• get-market-status: Check market status

• get-quote: Get real-time quotes

• get-order-history: View order history

• cancel-order: Cancel existing orders

• get-account-balance: Check account balance
