What was IRIS?

IRIS was a monolithic MCP server providing 28 tools:

• 9 Email tools (Microsoft 365)

• 5 Calendar tools

• 3 Teams tools

• 2 Users tools

• 4 PEC tools (Italian certified email)

• 4 Booking tools

• 1 File upload tool

Replacement

IRIS has been replaced by 8 atomic MCP servers:

• MS365-Email - 9 tools

• MS365-Calendar - 8 tools

• MS365-Teams - 7 tools

• MS365-Users - 3 tools

• Legalmail - 5 tools (PEC)

• MS365-Files - 8 tools

• Document-Factory - 8 tools + 6 prompts

• TrustySign - 2 wizards

Why archived?

• Monolithic architecture - Hard to maintain, deploy, and scale

• Tight coupling - All tools in one codebase

• Deployment issues - One bug affects all tools

• Replaced by atomic MCPs - Each MCP is independent and focused
