# Testing Prompts Archive This directory contains testing instructions and prompts used during Feature 003 development and validation. ## Files ### Feature 003 Testing Prompts 1. **`MCP_CLIENT_TESTING_PROMPT.txt`** (Initial Testing) - Original 11-test comprehensive validation suite - Tests all work item CRUD operations - Tests hierarchical relationships and optimistic locking - Tests backward compatibility with legacy endpoints - Used to identify 2 critical bugs (session management, status translation) 2. **`MCP_CLIENT_RETEST_PROMPT.txt`** (Post-Bug-Fix Testing) - Testing instructions after critical bug fixes - Expected results: 10/11 tests passing - Verified fixes for SQLAlchemy session and status translation issues 3. **`MCP_CLIENT_FINAL_TEST_PROMPT.txt`** (Final Validation) - Final testing after hierarchy enhancement - Validates explicit ancestors/descendants arrays in responses - Expected results: 11/11 tests passing - Confirmed production readiness 4. **`TESTING_PROMPT.md`** (Comprehensive Local Testing) - Local testing instructions for parallel development - Database migration verification - Model and service import validation - Unit and integration test execution - Performance validation 5. **`STANDALONE_TESTING_PROMPT.txt`** (Standalone Testing) - Independent testing instructions - No dependencies on other projects - Self-contained validation suite ## Usage These prompts are archived for reference and can be used: - To understand the testing methodology used for Feature 003 - As templates for testing future features - To reproduce validation results - For regression testing after major changes ## Testing Results **Final Validation** (using MCP_CLIENT_FINAL_TEST_PROMPT.txt): - ✅ 11/11 tests passing (100%) - ✅ All work item CRUD operations functional - ✅ Hierarchical queries with ancestors/descendants arrays - ✅ Optimistic locking working correctly - ✅ Backward compatibility maintained **Bug Fixes Validated**: 1.
