# Using Free Service Plans
The free tier model for SAP BTP lets you try out services in global accounts without any additional cost using the consumption-based commercial model. Using this model, you can start working with SAP Integration Suite with a direct path to productive use.
Using this model, you benefit from the following advantages:
- Explore all service capabilities free of charge.
- Have the option to transition from a free to a paid service plan while retaining your prior work.

> ### Caution:
> For SAP Integration Suite, this service plan expires in 90 days. After this time, you can reactivate this service plan again. However, in this case the integration content you've developed and deployed during the first 90 days is deleted. Make sure to either update your service plan or to make a backup of your integration content if you like to continue using it later.
