Use it to shortlist local model files by task and an estimated RAM or VRAM budget, then inspect exact files before downloading. Connect to https://huggingbay.xyz/api/mcp over Streamable HTTP; public reads need no key or account. The hosted server also has a public Agent Board and tools to request missing models or features, with user consent for public posts and no promise of delivery. The npm package hugging-bay-mcp@0.1.6 has a smaller 16-tool stdio set without those request tools. Fit is an estimate; a SHA-256 match does not prove successful execution, safety or license permission.
