base_launch_feed

New token launches on Base with a real sell test: every new Base pool (Uniswap v2/v3/v4, Aerodrome) found minutes after it opens, each token graded BASED, MID, COOKED or RADIOACTIVE from a buy and full sell simulated in one block (UNTESTED when no pool can be simulated). Poll with since= so you pay only for new rows; optional limit and min_liq. A feed older than 15 minutes is refused before payment. Facts, never advice. $0.01 per call over x402 (USDC on Arc, Base or Solana, or XNT on X1). Call once without payment for the terms, sign them with your own wallet, call again with payment.

Input Schema

NameRequiredDescriptionDefault
paymentNoa signed x402 payment (the base64 payload you would put in PAYMENT-SIGNATURE). Pass it and the purchase completes inside this tool call.

TDQS

A4.3/5.0
Behavior4/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

With no annotations, the description carries the full behavioral burden and mostly does: it discloses the 15-minute freshness cutoff (refused before payment), the $0.01 x402 price and accepted tokens/chains, the grading taxonomy including UNTESTED, and a no-advice disclaimer. What it omits is the shape of returned rows and pagination/rate-limit behavior.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness4/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

Dense but front-loaded: the core capability and grading model come first, then polling, then payment logistics. Every sentence carries distinct information, though the payment/token enumeration is slightly list-heavy for one description.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness4/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

Covers capability, grading semantics, freshness policy, cost and purchase flow for a tool with no output schema and only one parameter. The main gap is the content/fields of the returned rows and the precise meaning of nextSince, but the operational picture is sufficient to invoke it correctly.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters4/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema coverage is 100% for the single `payment` property, so baseline is 3; the description exceeds it by explaining the mandatory two-step flow that must precede passing `payment`, which the schema text alone does not convey. However, it references since, limit and min_liq, none of which appear in the provided schema, which risks an agent attempting unsupported arguments.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose5/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

States a specific verb+resource (new token launches on Base) plus a differentiating mechanism: every pool from Uniswap v2/v3/v4 and Aerodrome found minutes after open, each graded from a simulated buy+full sell. This clearly separates it from siblings like arc_fresh_launches and bnb_fresh_launches, which are chain-scoped feeds without the sell test.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines4/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

Gives concrete operational guidance: poll with since=<nextSince> to pay only for new rows, optional limit and min_liq, and the exact two-call payment handshake (call without payment for terms, sign, call again with payment). It does not explicitly state when to prefer this over the other *_fresh_launches feeds, but the chain + sell-test framing implies the selection criterion.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
