OpenAny

Securities Industry Regulation Keyword Search API

yuandian_post_open_rh_fg_zq_search

Searches for a list of securities industry regulations. The request body must not be empty, but keyword may be omitted. Without keywords, results are primarily selected using filters such as regulation name, validity status, region, legal authority, publication date, and effective date. An item includes content only when keywords are supplied and a highlighted match is found; content is a snippet, not the full regulation text. Use the regulation detail API for the full text. Uses the caller's OpenAny gateway credentials. Charges and authorization are determined by the gateway.

TDQS

A4/5.0
Behavior4/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

With no annotations, the description carries the disclosure burden well: it states that content appears only when keywords are supplied and a highlighted match exists, that content is a snippet rather than full text, and that credentials/charges are handled by the OpenAny gateway. Pagination, result ordering, and rate-limit behavior are not covered.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness4/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

Front-loaded with the core behavior, then the keyword-vs-filter distinction, then the snippet caveat and the routing hint — every sentence carries information. The closing gateway sentence is somewhat vague about actual cost/authorization mechanics, slightly diluting an otherwise tight description.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness4/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

For a 12-parameter tool with no annotations and no output schema, the description covers the essentials an agent needs: required-body constraint, filter-only mode, response content shape, and the follow-up tool for full text. Return field structure and result ordering/paging remain undocumented.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters4/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema coverage is 100%, so the baseline is 3, but the description adds real semantics on top: it explains that filters take over when keyword is absent and that keyword terms are joined by search_mode. That explains parameter interplay rather than restating field docs.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose4/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

States a specific verb and resource (searches a list of securities-industry regulations) and explicitly separates itself from the regulation detail API. It does not, however, distinguish itself from the closely named sibling yuandian_post_open_rh_fg_search, which appears to be the same search over a broader corpus — that boundary is left to inference.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines4/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

Gives concrete usage context: the body must be non-empty, keyword may be omitted, and filter-only queries are valid, plus an explicit routing rule to the detail API when full text is needed. It offers no guidance on when to prefer it over the sibling regulation-search or vector-search tools.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
