Use cert when the subject is a document, not a URL: give only its SHA256 hash — the document itself never leaves you, nothing is fetched and no page is checked — and get the hash timestamped in a signed, hash-chained attestation proving the document existed at that moment. For anything involving a live URL, use ping or prove_it instead. POST the tool inputs as JSON to paid_url with an x402 v2 PAYMENT-SIGNATURE header.
