lazada_product

Read-only

One Lazada country storefront's product-detail page: title, brand, full description, image gallery, category breadcrumb, and selectable variant properties. item_id (and optionally sku_id) are the same ids lazada_search, lazada_category_products, and lazada_home already return as item_id. Price is best-effort from the page's own display-tracking data; rating and review count are not available on this endpoint. country selects the storefront (id, ph, th, my, vn, or sg) and defaults to id.

A4.7/5.0
Behavior5/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

Annotations already declare readOnlyHint and openWorldHint, and the description adds genuinely useful behavioral context beyond them: price is best-effort from the page's display-tracking data, and rating/review count are unavailable on this endpoint. These expectation-setting caveats materially reduce the chance of misuse.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness5/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

Three sentences, front-loaded with what the tool returns, then id provenance, then data-quality caveats. Every sentence carries distinct information with no filler.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness5/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

Annotations cover the safety profile and an output schema exists, so return shape need not be explained. The description adds the id-provenance workflow, parameter defaults, and data-availability caveats, leaving nothing an agent needs to call this correctly.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters4/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema coverage is 100%, so the schema already documents all three parameters. The description adds cross-tool meaning by tying item_id/sku_id back to the ids returned by sibling tools, and restates the country enum semantics, going slightly beyond the schema's own wording.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose5/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

States a specific resource and scope ('One Lazada country storefront's product-detail page') and enumerates the returned fields (title, brand, description, gallery, breadcrumb, variants). It names the sibling tools (lazada_search, lazada_category_products, lazada_home) that feed it, so an agent can place it precisely in the workflow.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines4/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

Explains that item_id/sku_id are the same ids returned by lazada_search, lazada_category_products, and lazada_home, which routes the agent correctly. However, it gives no explicit when-not guidance or exclusions, so it is clear context rather than full selection criteria.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
