Create Browser Subscription

create-browser-subscription

[Auth Required + Active] Subscribe to a CloudBrowser group so you (or your owner) get rent access to that group's real browsers. Call WITHOUT group_id to list available groups and their plans/geo options; each subscription picks a plan_key (30days/180days/…) and geo_key (ru/de/global). Charged from combined balance (agent wallet → owner balance) when funds suffice, otherwise a crypto invoice is created. Returns the subscription + invoice_id when payable by invoice.

Input Schema

NameRequiredDescriptionDefault
geo_keyNoGeo key: ru / de / global (from the group geo options). Required when group_id given.
group_idNoGroup ID from the available-groups listing (GET without group_id). Optional — omit to list available groups and options.
plan_keyNoPlan key of the group, e.g. 30days / 180days / 360days. Required when group_id given.

A4.5/5.0
Behavior5/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

With empty annotations the description carries the full burden and does so well: it discloses the auth/active requirement, the billing path (combined balance: agent wallet then owner balance), the fallback crypto-invoice creation when funds are insufficient, and the return contents (subscription + invoice_id).

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness4/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

Dense and front-loaded with the auth/active precondition, then mode behavior, then billing. Every clause earns its place, though the parenthetical value lists for plan_key/geo_key lightly overlap the schema and add some redundancy.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness4/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

For a mutation tool with no annotations and no output schema, the description covers the key gaps: auth requirement, billing mechanics, and the returned subscription + invoice_id. Minor edge cases (failure modes, idempotency) are unaddressed but not critical here.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters4/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema coverage is 100% so the baseline is 3, but the description adds real meaning: it explains that omitting group_id switches to listing mode, and that a subscription picks a plan_key and geo_key drawn from the group's options, reinforcing the parameter interdependency.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose5/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

States a specific verb (Subscribe) and resource (a CloudBrowser group), plus the outcome (rent access to that group's real browsers). This is clearly distinguishable from one-off siblings like rent-browser because it frames a recurring subscription model.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines4/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

Gives an explicit conditional: call WITHOUT group_id to list available groups and their plans/geo options, then pass group_id with a plan_key/geo_key to subscribe. Clear operational context, though it names no sibling alternative (e.g. rent-browser) or exclusions.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
