List employee details

tamigo_list_employee_details
Read-only

Detailed employee records, 500 per page in alphabetical order: contact data, roles per department, home department, contract hours, wage type and history, absence balances, competencies, custom columns, notes and availability. Bank details and ID numbers are never returned. Large pages are returned in slices: pass the reply's next_page and next_offset to continue. GET /employees/getemployeedetails/.

TDQS

A3.7/5.0
Behavior4/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

Beyond the readOnly/openWorld/non-destructive annotations, it discloses meaningful behavior: 500 records maximum per page, alphabetical ordering, slice-based continuation, and an explicit privacy boundary that bank details and ID numbers are never returned. It does not address rate limits or whether deleted employees affect ordering, but the added context is substantial.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness4/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

The content inventory is front-loaded and each sentence carries information: contents, exclusions, paging mechanics, endpoint. The closing 'GET /employees/getemployeedetails/.' is of marginal value to an agent but harmless and short.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness4/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

With no output schema, the description must convey return shape, and it does so well by enumerating the record's fields plus the privacy exclusions and page ordering. Only the interaction between alphabetical ordering and pagination (records shifting between pages) and the include_deleted flag remain unaddressed.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters3/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema coverage is 100%, so the schema already documents page, limit, offset and include_deleted thoroughly. The description reinforces the page-size ceiling and the next_page/next_offset continuation pattern, but adds no semantics the schema lacks, and never mentions include_deleted. Baseline 3 applies.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose4/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

It names the resource precisely (detailed employee records) and enumerates the returned content areas (contact data, roles per department, contract hours, wage history, absence balances, competencies, notes, availability). The adjective 'detailed' implicitly separates it from the sibling tamigo_list_employees, but it never names that sibling, so the differentiation depends on inference.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines3/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

It gives clear operational guidance for continuation ('pass the reply's next_page and next_offset to continue') but no guidance on when to choose this over tamigo_list_employees or tamigo_list_absences. The usage context is implied by 'detailed' rather than stated.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
