get_account_info

Read-onlyIdempotent

Get the connected account's user id, scopes, Advanced Data Protection state, plan slug and owned chat-app URLs (urls.upgrade_url, urls.usage_url, urls.help_url). Use it when the user asks about their plan or settings, or after a limit error to show where to check usage. Do not call it to check quota before a conversation: it does not return live remaining quota. Data Protection is read-only here; change it at data_protection.manage_url. Limit errors from create_conversation and send_message carry reset_at and say what to do: upgrade_url for solo users and org owners; organization members get quota_scope, org_role and extra_usage_buyable and are told to ask the owner for extra usage or wait for the next 4-hour window.

A4.8/5.0
Behavior5/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

Annotations already declare this a safe idempotent read, and the description still adds substantive behavior: what is NOT returned (live remaining quota), that Data Protection is read-only here with a redirect to the mutation path, and what limit errors from create_conversation/send_message contain (reset_at, upgrade_url, quota_scope, org_role, extra_usage_buyable) plus the 4-hour window.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness4/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

Front-loaded with the returned fields, then usage guidance, then exclusions — a sound order with no filler. The final two sentences drift into the error contract of sibling tools (create_conversation, send_message), which is useful context but slightly beyond this tool's own scope.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness5/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

With no input parameters and no output schema, the description compensates by enumerating the returned fields and their nested URL keys. An agent has everything needed to call it and interpret the result without opening anything else.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters4/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

The tool takes zero parameters, so there is nothing to disambiguate and the baseline applies. The description correctly spends no words on input semantics and instead documents the output surface.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose5/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

Names a specific verb and enumerates the exact resource contents returned (user id, scopes, Advanced Data Protection state, plan slug, owned chat-app URLs), so an agent knows precisely what it gets back. It also draws a boundary against the quota-checking siblings in the same breath.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines5/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

Gives explicit triggers (user asks about plan or settings, or after a limit error to show where to check usage) and an explicit exclusion (do not call it to check remaining quota before a conversation). It also routes the agent to data_protection.manage_url for the mutation case.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
