Zovo RSVP Page

Show RSVP results

show_rsvp_results
Read-onlyIdempotent

Use this when the user asks who is coming, how many people are coming, or for meal-choice totals on an RSVP page made with create_rsvp_page. Takes the private organizer link and returns the headcount (yes replies plus their guests, maybe separately), per-choice totals, and the reply list. Does not work with the guest link and does not change the page.

Input Schema

A4.5/5.0
Behavior4/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

The annotations already declare readOnlyHint=true, idempotentHint=true, and destructiveHint=false, so the safety profile is covered. The description still adds useful context: it says the page is not changed and that only the private organizer link is accepted, which discloses a concrete failure mode. It stops short of describing auth requirements or any behavior on malformed links.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness5/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

Three sentences, front-loaded with the usage trigger, then what is returned, then the constraint. Nothing is repeated and every sentence carries information an agent needs before calling.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness5/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

An output schema exists, so the description does not need to detail return shapes, though it helpfully summarizes the headcount and reply list. With the read-only annotations and a single fully documented parameter, there is no gap that would cause a mis-call.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters3/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

There is one parameter with 100% schema description coverage, so the schema alone already explains manage_url and even notes that the guest link does not work. The description restates that constraint rather than adding new syntax or format guidance, so baseline 3 is appropriate.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose5/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

The description pairs a specific verb and resource with the scope of what the tool returns: headcount, per-choice totals, and the reply list. It clearly separates itself from the sibling create_rsvp_page by naming the page type, and from guest-facing flows by saying it does not accept the guest link.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines5/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

It opens with an explicit trigger ('when the user asks who is coming, how many people are coming, or for meal-choice totals') and closes with a negative condition ('does not work with the guest link'). This is exactly the alternative-selection guidance an agent needs, with the failure condition stated up front.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
