webaz_submit_order_request

SUBMIT drafts into the human's approval queue (scope order_submit_request; OAuth grant). Queues only — unless auto_approved:true (owner's small-order rule): order created, pay next.

  • draft_id → request_id + approval_url; or draft_ids (one per seller) → all or none, ONE approvals page. The human approves on webaz.xyz (usually a tap). Pending requests and unpaid agent orders are capped (ORDER_REQUEST_LIMIT).

  • Approval (server-side) re-validates price/stock/region/rail (drift hard-fails → re-quote), then creates the REAL order exactly as approved. No money moves then; paying needs the human (Passkey or wallet).

  • Idempotent: a retry returns the SAME request (duplicate_reason); the explicit 再买一份 action (new_purchase_intent) creates an independent purchase.

draft_idsNoInstead of draft_id: ≤10 drafts
idempotency_keyNoOptional [A-Za-z0-9_-]{1,64}: click+retries share it → same result; same key + different payload → IDEMPOTENCY_CONFLICT (no execute).

operation_attempt_idNoOptional trace id (diagnostics only, never a dedup key).
purchase_intent_instanceNoOptional nonce for one independent purchase (with new_purchase_intent); server mints one if omitted.

A4.2/5.0
Behavior5/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

Beyond the annotations (readOnly=false, destructive=false, openWorld=true) it discloses non-obvious behavior: pending-request caps (ORDER_REQUEST_LIMIT), server-side re-validation of price/stock/region/rail with hard-fail on drift, the fact that no money moves at approval time, and idempotent retry semantics with duplicate_reason. That is exactly the kind of context annotations cannot carry.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness4/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

Front-loaded with the core action, then organized into short bullet-like fragments covering batch, approval, and idempotency. Information density is high, but the compressed phrasing and untranslated 再买一份 make a few lines harder to parse than they need to be.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness4/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

For a mutating, open-world tool with an output schema, it covers the essential lifecycle: queue → human approval → server re-validation → order creation → payment by human. Minor gaps: it doesn't state that one of draft_id/draft_ids is effectively mandatory (schema marks zero required), and it references an auto_approved flag absent from the schema.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters4/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema coverage is 100%, so the baseline is 3; the description goes further by explaining draft_ids as one-per-seller with all-or-none semantics and a single approvals page, and by clarifying the idempotency/retry contract. One flaw: it references an auto_approved parameter that does not appear in the input schema, which could confuse an agent assembling arguments.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose4/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

The opening clause states a precise verb and resource: submit drafts into the human's approval queue, with the required OAuth scope named. It also makes clear that this tool normally queues rather than purchases ('Queues only — unless auto_approved:true'), which functionally separates it from webaz_place_order/webaz_buy, though it never names those siblings explicitly.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines4/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

It gives clear triggering context (an existing odr_/ogd_ draft, single or batch) and the exception path (auto_approved small-order rule → order created, pay next). It also states the retry vs. re-purchase distinction (idempotency vs. 再买一份). What's missing is an explicit 'use webaz_place_order / webaz_quote_order instead when…' routing statement.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
