SEO Referring IPs & Networks
seo_referring_networksReferring IPs and subnets (SEO Intelligence add-on). Groups everyone who links to a
domain by the server they sit on. Why it matters: a natural link profile is spread over
many unrelated hosts, so when dozens of linking domains share one IP or one /24 subnet
they are almost certainly the same operator — a private blog network. Use it to judge
whether a domain's backlinks are genuinely independent before buying links or trusting
a competitor's numbers, and to document a negative-SEO attack. network_type: "ip"
(exact host) or "subnet" (/24 block — catches networks that spread across IPs).
