Update Collection Keys

update_collection_keys
DestructiveIdempotent

Update only the allowed keys of a seliee_collection (found by collection_id or collection_uuid); any other key is refused and nothing is written. Allowed keys: seliee_collection_title, seliee_collection_slug, seliee_collection_keywords, seliee_collection_description, seliee_collection_content, seliee_collection_language, seliee_collection_icon, seliee_collection_poster, seliee_collection_faqs (list of {summary, text}; null or [] clears). Null is refused for title, slug, keywords, description and language.

TDQS

A3.9/5.0
Behavior3/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

Annotations already declare destructiveHint=true, idempotentHint=true and openWorldHint=false, so the safety profile is covered. The description still adds real value beyond that: whitelist enforcement and all-or-nothing rejection ('nothing is written'), plus null-clearing semantics for faqs and null-refusal for five fields. It omits error/return behavior and permission needs, so it adds context without fully carrying the behavioral burden.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness4/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

Front-loaded with the core rule, then the whitelist, then edge-case rules – a sensible ordering with no filler. The dense run-on enumeration of keys and parentheticals is slightly hard to scan but each clause carries distinct information.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness4/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

For a destructive, free-form-payload mutation with no output schema, the description covers what can be changed, what gets cleared, and what will be rejected. Missing only identifier-selection rules and any hint of what the call returns or requires in permissions.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters4/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema coverage is 0% and the required 'updates' parameter is a bare object with additionalProperties:true and no property docs, so the description does the heavy lifting by enumerating the nine allowed keys and giving structure for faqs ({summary, text}) plus null/[] clear semantics. The gap is the two identifier params: the description says the collection is 'found by collection_id or collection_uuid' but never states whether one is mandatory or how conflicts are resolved.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose5/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

States a specific verb and resource ('Update only the allowed keys of a seliee_collection') plus the identifier lookup, which cleanly separates it from the update_article_keys / update_page_keys / update_lead_keys family. An agent knows immediately what object is mutated and on what scope.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines3/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

The whitelist rule ('any other key is refused and nothing is written') implicitly tells the agent this is for partial key-level edits, but the description never names the obvious alternative (edit_collection) or says when to prefer this over a broader edit. Usage with respect to siblings must be inferred.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
