Create Website Cname

create_website_cname
Destructive

Create a CNAME subdomain (<seliee_website_cname>.<zone domain>) under a ZONE website (routes/seliee_websites.py rp_cnames_create). The ZONE website is given by seliee_website_id or seliee_website_uuid. Adds the Cloudflare DNS record, then a CNAME website that copies the zone's templates and rules, title, keywords, description, slogan, subtitle, language and options.

A3.5/5.0
Behavior4/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

Annotations already declare destructiveHint=true and readOnlyHint=false, but the description adds real behavioral detail beyond them: it writes an actual Cloudflare DNS record and clones the zone's templates, rules, and metadata (title, keywords, description, language, options). That side-effect chain is exactly what an agent needs to judge the blast radius of a destructive call.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness3/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

The core behavior is front-loaded and dense, but the internal reference '(routes/seliee_websites.py rp_cnames_create)' is implementation noise that does not help an agent decide or invoke. Removing it would leave a tight two-sentence definition.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness3/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

For a destructive, non-idempotent creation tool with no output schema and zero schema descriptions, the description covers the side effects well but omits the return value (presumably the new website's id/uuid), failure modes when the zone is missing, and whether the Cloudflare record is rolled back on partial failure.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters3/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema coverage is 0%, so the description must compensate, and it does partially: it names seliee_website_id and seliee_website_uuid and shows <seliee_website_cname>.<zone domain> as the format. However, it never says the parameters are all optional (required=0), whether id and uuid are mutually exclusive or one is preferred, or what happens if the cname is omitted.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose4/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

States a specific verb and resource (create a CNAME subdomain under a ZONE website) and shows the resulting hostname pattern, which is far more informative than the title alone. It does not explicitly contrast itself with nearby siblings such as create_redirect or create_rule, so an agent must infer the boundary.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines3/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

Usage is implied: the tool requires a pre-existing ZONE website, identified by id or uuid. There is no explicit when-to-use/when-not, no mention of what to do if the zone doesn't exist, and no named alternative for creating subdomains by other means.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
