Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?
Annotations already declare readOnlyHint, idempotentHint, and destructiveHint=false, so safety is covered. The description usefully scopes the tool as a computation-only path that skips document synthesis. It does not mention rounding/precision behavior, how missing tax_rate or discount_amount are treated, or whether the calculation is a pure function of the payload — real gaps for a calculator, but partly offset by annotation coverage.
Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.
