Crime Radar case report: pinpoint a past crime and find similar ones
crime_case_reportLook up a specific past incident in Chicago public crime data by case number, date (plus or minus a window), block, crime type, keyword or coordinates. Returns a report with the pinpointed location (block-level, map link), full public details, other candidate matches, ranked similar incidents nearby (same offence, location type, time of day, block, proximity) and an area pattern summary. Works for incidents from 2001 to about a week ago. Public data: no victim or suspect identities, not evidence of guilt. Cost: 5 credits per call.
