Reverse engineer a physical part or object from a 3D scan or mesh (STL binary/ASCII, OBJ, ASCII PLY; send as data_base64 or as text in data_text). Returns exact overall dimensions, volume, surface area, centre of mass, weight in a chosen material, true cross-section outlines through the middle of each axis (they show holes and pockets), convex-hull silhouettes, a three-view AutoCAD DXF with dimensions, a re-exported STL in millimetres with the origin at the corner, and an interactive viewer. unit: mm|cm|m|in (units of the input, default mm).
