Reissue Evaluate Token

reissue_evaluate_token

Reissue a lost evaluate_token by proving ownership of the buyer wallet.

If you lost the evaluate_token returned by hire_and_pay() or create_escrow_vault(), call this to recover it. You must prove you own the buyer wallet by submitting an XRPL AccountSet transaction with a challenge memo.

Input Schema

TableJSON Schema
NameRequiredDescriptionDefault
tx_hashYesHash of an XRPL AccountSet tx you submitted from wallet_address with a Memo containing the challenge string from get_wallet_verification_challenge(). This proves you own the buyer wallet.
escrow_idYesThe escrow vault ID whose evaluate_token was lost.
wallet_addressYesYour XRPL wallet address (r...) — must match the buyer address on the vault.

TDQS

A4.1/5.0
Behavior4/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

Annotations declare this is a non-read-only, non-idempotent, open-world operation, and the description adds meaningful procedural context: recovery requires submitting an XRPL AccountSet transaction with a challenge memo, i.e. a multi-step on-chain proof. It does not disclose whether the old token is invalidated or any rate limits, so it is strong but not exhaustive.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness4/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

Front-loads the action and the trigger condition in a short two-sentence block. Minor redundancy: ownership proof is stated twice ('by proving ownership of the buyer wallet' and 'You must prove you own the buyer wallet').

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness4/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

With an output schema and rich annotations present, the description need not explain return values, and it adequately covers the recovery workflow and its prerequisite steps. It leaves out what happens to the prior token on reissue, but is otherwise complete for calling the tool correctly.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters3/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema description coverage is 100%, so the schema already documents all three parameters thoroughly, including the challenge-memo linkage. The description adds no parameter-level detail beyond what the schema provides, making the baseline 3 correct.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose5/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

States a specific verb (reissue) and resource (lost evaluate_token) plus the recovery precondition. It further distinguishes itself by naming the sibling tools that produce the token (hire_and_pay, create_escrow_vault), so an agent can place it precisely in the workflow.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines4/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

Explicitly states the triggering condition: call this if you lost the evaluate_token returned by hire_and_pay() or create_escrow_vault(). It gives clear context and origin, though it stops short of naming a direct alternative or an explicit when-not-to-use case.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
