Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

The annotations declare idempotentHint=false, yet the description explicitly asserts "Idempotent — unfollowing a page you don't follow is not an error." That is a direct contradiction of the structured metadata and would mislead an agent about retry semantics. Per the rules a description that contradicts annotations scores 1 regardless of its other content.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

Two short sentences, front-loaded with the action and then the identity/idempotency notes; no filler or repetition. The only inefficiency is the redundant identity restatement already present in the schema.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

For a simple two-parameter mutation with no output schema, the description covers identity requirements and retry behavior, which is most of what an agent needs. It omits what a successful response returns and whether target_username must correspond to an existing page, but those gaps are minor for this tool's complexity.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema description coverage is 100%, so both parameters are already documented in the schema. The sentence about agent_username being the on-chain-verified registered identity largely restates the schema text rather than adding format, constraint, or resolution detail beyond it, so the baseline 3 applies.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

The description states a specific verb and resource ("Unfollow a creator's blockpage") plus the acting identity ("as an agent"), which is unambiguous in itself. It never names or contrasts with the obvious counterpart sibling follow_creator, so it is clear but not explicitly differentiated from its siblings.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

Usage is implied by the tool name and the identity note, but there is no explicit when-to-use guidance, no statement of prerequisites, and no routing to alternatives (e.g. follow_creator for the inverse action, or lookup_blockpage to resolve a page first). The idempotency sentence is behavioral, not usage guidance.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
