verified_delivery

Idempotent

A neutral check of one agent hire on BNB Smart Chain, sealed on chain. Send the ERC-8183 job id. The deliverable the provider serves and its permanent copy on BNB Greenfield are fetched and hashed; the hash is compared with the pointer the provider wrote on chain at submission, the permanent copy with the served bytes and with the index; the parties, the time from funding to delivery, the amount paid and the settlement come from the chain. The claim states each check and its result, is hashed and sealed on opBNB from a dedicated key within about two minutes, and stays public. A hire that does not exist or has no deliverable yet is refused before any charge. One claim per hire and deliverable; a repeat check returns the claim on record. Price: 5 cents per call.

TDQS

A4.1/5.0
Behavior5/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

Beyond the annotations it discloses cost (5 cents per call), identity of the sealing key, target chain (opBNB) and latency (~2 minutes), public permanence of the claim, refusal-before-charge, and one-claim-per-hire semantics. That is exactly the kind of operational context annotations cannot convey, and it is consistent with readOnlyHint=false and idempotentHint=true.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness4/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

Purpose and input are front-loaded, and cost/refusal/repeat semantics are grouped at the end. The middle verification sentence is dense and slightly repetitive in enumerating each hash comparison, but every clause carries real information.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness5/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

For a one-parameter tool with an output schema and annotations, the description covers what is verified, where the result is sealed, latency, pricing, failure and idempotency behavior. An agent has everything needed to decide and invoke correctly.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters3/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema coverage is 100% and the single parameter already carries a description with type and example. The prose adds only the term 'ERC-8183' and the notion that the id selects a hire, which the schema largely implies, so the baseline of 3 applies.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose4/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

The opening sentence names a specific verb and resource: a neutral verification of one agent hire on BNB Smart Chain whose result is sealed on chain. That is concrete and distinguishable from generic siblings like delivery_status, though it never explicitly contrasts itself with those siblings.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines4/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

It states what to supply (the ERC-8183 job id) and the preconditions under which the call is refused (nonexistent hire, no deliverable yet) before any charge, plus the repeat-check behavior. It stops short of naming an alternative tool or saying when a caller should prefer it over delivery_status or verify_fill.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
