Is Pikes Peak open today?
pikes_peak_conditionsRead-only
Use this when someone asks whether Pikes Peak or the Pikes Peak Highway is open today or right now, how far up the road is open (e.g. only to mile 13 Glen Cove after snow), today's gate hours, or the weather on Pikes Peak in the next days. Reads the City of Colorado Springs "Open to" status line from drivepikespeak.com (cached 15 minutes, with the time it was read) and the National Weather Service forecast for the summit-area grid. Example questions: "Is Pikes Peak open today?", "Can I drive to the top of Pikes Peak right now?", "What is the weather on Pikes Peak this weekend?". Not for the rules of a future date.
