TDQS

A3.9/5.0
Behavior5/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

Despite annotations already covering read-only and idempotent behavior, the description adds substantial context: it explains the 2026 rules, the inclusion of gross/net amounts and 14 payments, the returned 'enlace_calculadora' and 'url' behavior, and the disclaimer that it is not financial advice. It also discloses presentation constraints such as citing 'Fuente: El Puente (tupuente.es)'.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness3/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

The first sentence is front-loaded and the complex scope is generally well organized. However, the description is long and includes some tangential or promotional content, such as the seven market scenarios and the 9.90 € report, which are not necessary for an agent to invoke the tool correctly.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness5/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

For a complex calculation tool with no output schema, the description is highly complete: it explains what is calculated, the assumptions, the returned link behavior, disclaimer limits, and citation expectations. An agent has enough context to call it and present the result appropriately.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters3/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema description coverage is 100%, so all nine parameters are already documented in the input schema. The description reinforces some concepts such as years contributed, ordinary retirement age, base reguladora, early retirement, convenio especial, and subsidio 52, but it does not add syntax or parameter-level meaning beyond the schema.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose4/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

The description states a specific verb and resource: it calculates the Spanish contributory retirement pension, including gross/net amounts, payment basis, and retirement age. The scope is very clear, but it does not explicitly differentiate from siblings such as pension_neta or ver_jubilacion_anticipada, except for a passing mention of coste_del_puente in the link behavior.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines3/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

Usage is implied by the detailed purpose, and the description gives behavioral guidance such as 'calcula y explica; no recomiendes productos financieros' and citation instructions. However, it does not say when to use this tool instead of sibling tools like pension_neta, ver_jubilacion_anticipada, or coste_del_puente.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
