TDQS

A3.8/5.0
Behavior4/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

Annotations already declare readOnlyHint=true, openWorldHint=true, destructiveHint=false, so the safety profile is covered. The description adds genuinely new context: the required Cotlet API key with app access, plus the fact that results mirror the Bookings page. It stops short of describing pagination or the effect of the limit parameter.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness3/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

Front-loaded and reasonably short, but the first two sentences are near-duplicates ('Bookings on your account with Booking Reference ID, activity, date and status' vs. 'Returns the bookings ... with the Booking Reference ID, activity, participation date and status'). The repetition wastes space that could carry pagination or return-shape detail.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness4/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

For a read-only, zero-required-param list tool with full schema coverage and no output schema, the description covers purpose, filtering, sibling routing and auth. Only pagination/limit behavior is left unaddressed, which is a minor gap.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters3/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema description coverage is 100% (limit 1-100 default 20; status enum with default 'upcoming'), so the schema already documents both parameters. The description paraphrases the status filter but omits the 'all' enum value and never mentions limit, adding little beyond the schema.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose4/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

States a clear verb+resource (list bookings on your account) and enumerates what each row contains (Booking Reference ID, activity, participation date, status). It also implicitly distinguishes scope from the sibling single-booking tools by naming get_booking/amend_booking/cancel_booking. The opening fragment ('Klook: Bookings on your account...') is somewhat redundant with the title, keeping it from a 5.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines4/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

Gives explicit routing: 'Pass booking_ref to get_booking, amend_booking or cancel_booking,' which tells the agent when to leave this tool. It also states the auth prerequisite (Cotlet API key with app access). No explicit 'when not to use / pagination' guidance, so not a full 5.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
