Fresha: List payouts

fresha_list_payouts
Read-only

Fresha: Payouts from your business wallet to your bank, with dates, amounts and fees. Lists transfers from your business wallet to your bank, newest first. Each has its date, amount, the fees Fresha deducted and the net amount. Scheduled and manual payouts are both included. It works only when Fresha Payments is on, and the account needs the Wallet and card processing permission. Needs the user's Cotlet API key with access to this app.

TDQS

A3.6/5.0
Behavior4/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

Annotations already declare readOnly/openWorld/non-destructive, and the description adds real behavioral context beyond them: ordering (newest first), what is included (scheduled and manual), the exact fields returned (date, amount, fees, net), and required auth (Fresha Payments on, Wallet and card processing permission, Cotlet API key). It does not mention pagination behavior despite the cursor parameter.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness3/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

Front-loaded and readable, but the opening ('Payouts from your business wallet to your bank, with dates, amounts and fees') is largely restated by the next sentence ('Lists transfers from your business wallet to your bank'), and the return-field detail is repeated again. Redundancy costs it a point.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness4/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

For a read-only list tool with no output schema, the description usefully compensates by naming the returned fields and ordering. The only notable gap is pagination/cursor behavior, which is left entirely to the schema.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters3/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema description coverage is 100%, so the schema already documents from/to/cursor. The description adds nothing about parameter syntax or the date-range semantics, so baseline 3 applies.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose4/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

The description gives a specific verb ('Lists transfers') and resource ('payouts'/'transfers from your business wallet to your bank') and even clarifies scope ('newest first', 'scheduled and manual'). An agent knows exactly what this returns, though there is no sibling payout tool to explicitly differentiate against.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines3/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

Usage is implied by the list-tool pattern, but the description never states when to reach for this versus alternatives, nor any exclusion criteria. The prerequisites (Fresha Payments on, permissions) describe gating conditions rather than when-to-use guidance.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
