Bayut: Request TruCheck

bayut_request_trucheck

Bayut: Submit up to 5 photos of a Checked property to request TruCheck validation. Uploads up to 5 photos of a Checked property and submits them to request TruCheck validation, as the multiple photo upload in BayutPro does. Bayut recommends clear photos that show the unit number and an inside view. Bayut's moderation team reviews the submission, so the call returns "submitted"; check the badge later with get_listing. By default you confirm each call; you can switch that off for this tool. Reaches other people: confirm with the user before each call. Needs the user's Cotlet API key with access to this app.

TDQS

A4/5.0
Behavior5/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

Annotations only declare it is a mutating, open-world, non-destructive call, while the description supplies the substantive behavior: submissions go to Bayut's moderation team, the call returns 'submitted', confirmation is required per call by default, and a Cotlet API key with app access is needed. It also warns the action reaches other people and recommends photo content, covering what gets submitted and the auth requirements.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness3/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

Front-loaded and adequately sized, but the first two sentences are near-duplicates ('Submit up to 5 photos of a Checked property to request TruCheck validation' vs 'Uploads up to 5 photos of a Checked property and submits them to request TruCheck validation'), and the phrase 'as the multiple photo upload in BayutPro does' adds little. Redundancy costs it here.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness4/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

With no output schema, the description does explain the return convention ('submitted') and tells the agent how to verify status (get_listing). It covers auth, confirmation, side effects, and photo guidance. Error/failure behavior and what happens if validation is rejected are not addressed, leaving minor gaps.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters3/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema description coverage is 100% and both parameters are already documented (listing_id from list_listings, up to 5 photo URLs). The description restates the 'up to 5 photos' cap and the listing context but adds no syntax, format, or sourcing detail beyond the schema, so the baseline 3 applies.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose4/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

States a specific verb (submit/upload up to 5 photos) and resource (TruCheck validation for a Checked property), with the scope constraint (up to 5 photos) front-loaded. It doesn't explicitly contrast with Bayut siblings beyond an implied comparison to BayutPro's photo upload, so it stops short of a 5.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines4/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

Gives clear triggering context (request TruCheck validation on a Checked property) and routes the follow-up step (check the badge later with get_listing). It also flags the confirmation and API-key prerequisites. No explicit when-not-to-use or sibling exclusion is offered, so it is clear context rather than full usage guidance.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
