list_embed_projects

Read-onlyIdempotent

List an organization's embed projects (type=embed) for viaSocket SDK setup. Each data.projects[].id is a project_id (VIASOCKET_PROJECT_ID). Reuse an existing embed: one embed serves a whole product. Only if there is none, create one with the Create Embed Project endpoint (via call_any_api) after the developer confirms.

Input Schema

NameRequiredDescriptionDefault
typeNoRequired. `embed` for SDK projects (`flow` and `default` are the workspace's own automation projects). e.g. embed
orgIdYesOrganization id from Find Organizations or Get Org Details By Token
bringflowsNoOptional. true also returns the flows of each project. e.g. false

A4.4/5.0
Behavior4/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

Annotations already declare read-only, idempotent, non-destructive behavior. The description adds useful context beyond them: data.projects[].id maps to a project_id used as VIASOCKET_PROJECT_ID, and creation should only happen after developer confirmation.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness5/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

The description is front-loaded, compact, and every sentence carries useful selection or workflow information. There is no redundant restatement of the title or annotations.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness4/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

For a read-only list tool with no output schema, the description covers the key returned identifier and the reuse/create decision. It does not detail the optional bringflows parameter or full response shape, but the schema covers parameters adequately.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters3/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema description coverage is 100%, so the schema already explains orgId, type, and bringflows. The description reinforces type=embed and organization context but adds no further parameter syntax or constraints beyond the schema.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose5/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

The description states a specific verb and resource: listing an organization's embed projects for viaSocket SDK setup. It also distinguishes the create fallback by naming the Create Embed Project endpoint via call_any_api.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines5/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

It explicitly says to reuse an existing embed because one embed serves a whole product, and only create one if none exists, after developer confirmation. This gives clear when-to-use and alternative guidance.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
