get_industry_benchmark
Read-only

割安/割高の判断材料は get_edinet_financial_data・get_ideal_price・get_stock_score・get_dcf_valuation にもあります。

  • 収益性: roe, roa, roic(投下資本利益率), operatingMargin(営業利益率), netProfitMargin(純利益率), grossProfitMargin(粗利率)

  • 安全性: equityRatio(自己資本比率), debtToEquityRatio(D/Eレシオ), currentRatio(流動比率)

  • 効率: assetTurnover(総資産回転率)

  • 成長: salesGrowth(売上高), operatingIncomeGrowth(営業利益), netIncomeGrowth(純利益), epsGrowth(EPS)。いずれも前期比 salesCagr3y(売上高), operatingIncomeCagr3y(営業利益), epsCagr3y(EPS・分割調整後)。

  • 還元・評価: payoutRatio(配当性向), doe(株主資本配当率), dividendYield(配当利回り), per, pbr 単位は %、per / pbr は倍、assetTurnover は回。

  • sectors[]: 業種ごとの companyCount(業種の会社数)と、指標ごとの n(有効社数)・median(中央値)・p25 / p75(四分位)・min / max。

90なら業種の上位10%の大きさ)・diffFromMedian(中央値との差)。

  • n が 5 未満の指標は smallSample=true の参考値です。

TDQS

A4.5/5.0
Behavior4/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

Annotations already cover safety (readOnlyHint=true, destructiveHint=false, openWorldHint=false), yet the description adds substantial context the agent could not infer: cost accounting (one call per code, max 10), data provenance (pseudo share price reconstructed from XBRL, not current market price; dividends are actual not forecast), and exclusion rules for financial sectors, nulls, negative PER/PBR, and small samples. It stops short of describing latency or failure/error behavior, so it is rich but not exhaustive. No contradiction with annotations.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness3/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

The purpose and alternatives are front-loaded correctly, but the body is heavily bloated: metric categories, CAGR formulas, outlier handling, accounting-standard caveats, and data-provenance notes run for many paragraphs, and the closing advice about presenting Japanese metric labels to users is not needed for correct invocation. Much of this is reference material that would be better as linked documentation, though individual statements are not wrong or redundant with each other.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness5/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

There is no output schema, but the description fully compensates by enumerating the return shape: sectors[] with companyCount/n/median/p25/p75/min/max, companies[] with value/rank/of/percentile/diffFromMedian, plus note, smallSample, excludedMetrics, and oneOffSuspected flags. It even warns that rank/percentile are magnitude-ordered, so a low PER gets a high rank without implying quality, which is exactly the interpretive guidance an agent needs to report results correctly.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters4/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema coverage is 100%, so a baseline of 3 applies, and the description earns above that by adding units (%, multiples for per/pbr, turns for assetTurnover), grouping the 22 metric keys by category, defining CAGR as (latest/3-periods-ago)^(1/3)-1, and noting full-width/half-width middle-dot tolerance for sector names. Some of this repeats the schema's own metric list and codes description rather than extending it, which keeps it from a 5.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose5/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

The first two sentences state a specific verb and resource: it returns median/quartile values across the 33 TSE sectors plus the specified company's rank and position within its sector, framed as "where does this company's ROE sit among peers." It also explicitly names the sibling it is not (get_stock_analysis) and states the differentiator (22 metrics, quartiles, multi-company comparison), so an agent can separate it from related tools without opening a schema.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines5/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

The usage section enumerates the modes explicitly: pass codes for per-company sector detection, pass sector alone for distribution only, and optionally narrow with metrics. It also routes the agent elsewhere for adjacent needs (get_stock_analysis for a full single-stock analysis, get_edinet_financial_data / get_ideal_price / get_stock_score / get_dcf_valuation for valuation judgments) and states the cost condition for using it.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
