Rewrite A Queued Message Before It Sends
li_edit_stepChange the text of message steps that have NOT gone out yet — the fix for copy that is already queued in live campaigns and should not go out as written.
Nothing else can do this. A retired line sitting in a hundred prospects' Day-3 message could be FOUND (li_campaign_contacts gives every step its id, position and text for a whole campaign; li_contact_dossier does the same one person at a time) and not changed: the only other route was re-importing each prospect, which requires resupplying all four of their messages to correct one sentence. So it takes an ARRAY — the reason to reach for this is that the same wrong line is in many people's queue. For the SAME sentence across a whole campaign, li_bulk_edit_steps does it in one call with a dry run first — reach for this one when the corrections differ per person.
Three things it REFUSES, each per row, with the rest of the batch still applied:
• a step that is not pending — it has already been sent, and the stored text is the record of what that person actually received;
• a step whose sequence is replied / handed_off / completed / failed — it will never be sent, so editing it would change nothing that reaches anybody;
• a step on a campaign you cannot see — reported as 'Not found', the same as one that does not exist.
This does NOT reschedule anything. The step keeps its place and its time; only the words change. To stop it going out at all, use li_mark_stopped or li_mark_outcome.
