Query live metric data
query_dataRead-only
Pull live metric values from a client's connected datasource for any date range, without touching a report. Nothing is saved — use this for ad-hoc analysis and period comparisons. To read the numbers a report already holds, use get_widget_data instead. Discover ids with datasources → describe_datasource; a metric is only valid inside its own data view. The datasource must be linked to the client (connected_datasources) — an unlinked one has nothing to return.
